Speaking

I’m very slowly sticking my toe into the water of the world of speaking.  Oh my.  I heard His call on this and my answer was “Really?”.  However, my word for the year is “obedience” so here I am.  The toe’s in.

After prayerfully considering this and thinking there was no way in the world I would be qualified to stand up and speak to a group about anything, requests to speak have come in here and there.

So I’ll walk this journey a bit and see where it leads.  I don’t ever want to be like Abraham who delayed his own reward (having a child) by not fully obeying God’s commands.  Yikes.  The thought of missing out on any fruit He might be holding out to me makes my skin crawl.
